Coffee bar table, Willy Rizzo, Cidue, 1970s

Coffee table by Willy Rizzo for Cidue in Italy in the 1970s. Rectangular chest shape with a concealed central compartment that serves as a bar. Made of chromed steel and smoked mirrored glass. Both sliding trays and the interior are mirrored. Recessed base, giving the tabletop a floating effect. Some minor chips at the corners of the black wood base reveal the natural wood underneath, barely visible unless you bend down (see photos). The mirrored trays are slightly oxidized.
