"Mezzaluna" floor lamp, Bruno Gecchelin, Skipper and Pollux, 1980s

"Mezzaluna" floor lamp by Bruno Gecchelin for Skipper and Pollux. Halogen floor lamp on a circular black marble base with black lacquered metal at the top. The height and the orientation of the half-moon are adjustable. Designed in 1975, "Mezzaluna" became a design icon and an international bestseller at the time. The floor lamp was reissued in 2022. This is an original edition from the 1980s. Very good condition despite slight traces of time (slight scratches). The dimmer has been removed.
