"830 Cubis" armchair, K. Franck & W. Sauer, Wilkhahn, 1990

"830 Cubis" armchair by Designed by Klaus Franck & Werner Sauer for Wilkhahn in Germany in the 1990s, this chair features a minimalist cubic form with a chrome base and a suspended seat. The chrome and fabric are in very good condition. Its only flaws are a missing plastic protector on one leg and a missing plastic strip on the underside of the seat, both easily repairable.
The original model was offered in black imitation leather and dark blue fabric, but the manufacturer allowed for fabric customization. This light blue armchair was therefore a special order and does not appear in the catalogs.
